Beautiful Glow

In this toturial I will teach you how to create a glow type of effect on your images. If this toturial has helped you in any sort of way please credit back to Picturesque Moments.



  • 1. Okay, step 1 is to find an image in poor quailty. I'll be using this picture of Full Moon.
  • 2. Now you duplicate the layer, if the layer is locked then double click on the ock fast so it becomes unlocked because you can not do anything with a locked layer.
  • 3. So now you should have two layers of the same image. With the top layer go to Filter--->Blur--->Gaussain Blur and set the raduis to 2.0 or more if you want but don't go lower than 2.0.
  • 4. So now your top layer is blury and and your bottom layer isn't, still with your top layer select a blending mode. Like screen, multiply etc,.
  • 5. And voila! You're done! If you want to merge it together is press Ctrl+Alt+E.
